2009 MLB Playoffs Pick ‘Em: LCS
The playoffs are in full swing, and sadly, the Red Sox have been eliminated, falling in a shocking three-game sweep at the hands of the Angels. They can break our hearts, but they can’t break our competitive spirits! Not only were a few of us were fooled by the Sox-Angels series, but the Dodgers-Cardinals series especially confused many of the staff writers. How can we predict that Matt Holliday would drop an easy fly ball?
As for the League Championship Series, the staff has pretty much decided the Yankees are going to the World Series (except for George, Pete, and Teddy), and why not. Alex Rodriguez is all of a sudden the team’s most productive player in the clutch. Wait…did I just say that? A-Rod is clutch? This ain’t right.
LCS Rules:
- Each correct series winner is worth two points.
- Correctly choosing how long each series will last is worth one point.
- Correctly choosing the LCS MVP is worth one point.
- Making any incorrect pick is worth zero points.
