Antawn Jamison Traded to Cavaliers

The Cavaliers strengthened their chances of winning an NBA Title by acquiring Wizards power forward Antawn Jamison in a three-team deal. Oh, and Cleveland somehow is still in the Amare Stoudemire sweepstakes. Let’s cut to the chase:

Cavs Get:

  • Antawn Jamison (from WAS)
  • Sebastian Telfair (from LAC)

Wizards Get:

  • Zydrunas Ilgauskas (from CLE)
  • First-round pick (from CLE)
  • Al Thornton (from LAC)
  • Brian Skinner (from LAC)

Clippers Get:

  • Drew Gooden (from WAS via DAL)

The Cavs are showing LeBron James a renewed commitment to winning as they hope to keep him after he becomes a free agent in the off-season.

Will this deal put the Cavs over the top?
