Ben Watson Signs with Browns

The Patriots search for a new tight end just got a little more important as Ben Watson has signed with the Cleveland Browns. The deal is reportedly worth $12 million over three years. The deal also includes more than $6 million guaranteed.

Watson was drafted in the first round by the Patriots six years ago and has never quite lived up to the hype coming out of the University of Georgia. His most memorable play came in the 2006 playoffs and his famous length of the field rundown of Champ Bailey.

Watson finished his Patriots career with 167 catches for 2,102 yards and 20 touchdowns.
