Tiger Woods did his best to “let it all hang out.” OK, that was bad, but you get it. He really wanted to show he was ready to face most of his problems in his first press conference in over five months on Monday. He gave strong (but clearly rehearsed) responses to a variety of questions, revealing that his wife Elin will not be joining him this week at the Masters, and that he suffered numerous Achilles injuries in the last couple years.
He vehemently denied any connection to HGH, PEDs, steroids, and any other illegal drugs, insisting that his connection to a tainted Canadian doctor was for healing his torn-up knee with a procedure known as platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
“I’ve never taken any illegal drug in my life,” Woods said.
The most revealing, and perhaps ridiculous thing he said came later on in the presser.
“Look at what I was engaged in,” Woods said. “When you’re living a life that is a lie, life isn’t fun … that’s been stripped away. It feels fun again.”
Really Tiger? You weren’t having fun? You’re living in a dream world my friend. I refuse to believe that “seeing” all those women wasn’t a good thing in your mind at the time. Pff.
