Corey Dillon Arrested for Drunk Driving in California

TMZ.com has reported that former Patriots running back Corey Dillon was arrested on drunk driving charges in Malibu, California at around 3:38 a.m. PST on Wednesday. He remains in custody.

Meanwhile, Dillon’s wife filed for divorce earlier this month citing irreconcilable differences. They’ve been married for 10 years and have three children, but his wife Desiree has had enough.

The 35-year-old Dillon last played in the NFL for the Patriots in 2006. In his three years with the team, Dillion tallied at least 12 touchdowns each season. In his memorable first season with the team (that included a Super Bowl win), Dillon ran for a team-record and career-high 1,635 yards on 345 carries and 12 touchdowns.

He came to the Patriots with a bad reputation for his off-the-field antics, so his recent trouble with the law and with his wife comes as no surprise.
