2010 NBA Playoffs Expert Picks: Round 3 Results

The upcoming NBA Finals will surely be a hard-fought contest between two very familiar foes. (celticspride.pixnet.net)

A Lakers/Magic rematch didn’t pan out, but a Lakers/Celtics rematch did. Expect the “Beat L.A.” chants to be loud and proud in Games 3-5. Despite being battered up pretty bad, Boston still took it too Orlando and avoided the dreaded 3-0 to 3-4 loss that stung the Bruins earlier in the month. It wasn’t pretty, but they did it. The Lakers pretty much followed home court lines, except for winning in Phoenix in Game 6.

While only one of us not picking either winner, only one of us picked both of them. Nobody went scoreless in the third round, and the gap between first and last is just six points going into the final round; anybody can still win.

Speaking of the final round, It’ll be a tough one for the previous leader KC, who now has to share the honors with upstart Erikk. Mike, Andrew, and Brian are all right behind, so there’s no telling what will happen in the next round.
