Fantasy Baseball Wrap-Up: Week 11

Kevin Kouzmanoff

In the new look of the Wrap-Up, I will highlight the hot and cold players at each position. Why hear about how good the stud players are already doing when you can find out how well the widely available players are performing on the diamond? As always, let’s start with the list of key injuries.

Injuries

Chad Billingsley (SP), L.A. Dodgers

One of the young guns of the Dogers’ rotation was placed on the 15-day DL with a groin strain.

Troy Tulowitzki (SS), Colorado Rockies

On draft day, he was a stud shortstop, but he has been ok this season. Tulowitzki took a pitch off his wrist last Thursday and was placed on the DL.

Carlos Ruiz (C), Philadelphia Phillies

Ouch! Ruiz suffered a concussion after taking the backswing from Minnesota’s Jason Kubel and was put on the DL.
