Junior Seau was arrested early Monday morning on domestic violence charges, TMZ and Pro Football Talk are reporting. The former NFL linebacker was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility around 2 a.m. and released around 3:20 a.m.
And then the story gets strange.
TMZ then reported that Seau drove his car off a cliff in Carlsbad, California, shortly after being released from the Vista Dentention Facility. His vehicle was found at the bottom of the cliff, near the beach, and Seau was transported to a nearby hospital.
No details surrounding the nature of the domestic issue have been released, and Seau has no prior troubles with the law. He has been known for his charity work, specifically related to child abuse prevention. Seau is in the first full year of retirement after a 20-year career, most recently with the Patriots.

Carlsbad isn’t too far away!! Maybe if I leave now I can get an autograph!!
If Seau can hit his family and cliffs as hard as he did in the last few days, I think he still has a career in the NFL
