Well, we’re losing our touch picking winners here at SoB, but at least California, a fellow blue state, won out over the Yankees’ next pitcher Cliff Lee. The Giants won the series 4-1, behind Cliff Lee’s first two ever postseason losses in 10 games, now. Congratulations to the Giants; they earned it.
Most of use here at SoB guessed the number of road wins, and the others (the top two, by the way), guessed the Series Length. Erikk also exactly guessed how many strikeouts Cliff Lee and Tim Lincecum would combine for in the series. Sorry Erikk, no extra credit.
In light of another round of terrible guessing, the winner of the 2010 MLB Playoffs Pick ‘Em is …. well, you’ve known since last week it was Pete. Boo to Pete for not making it competitive. So in the spirit of suspense, the 2nd place winner is …. me. I did it through a tiebreaker, with a lower strikeout total than Andrew, who was expecting a couple of rounds of, “Here’s my fastball; come and get it if you can.”
So there’s that. Be sure to check below to see the final standings and how everyone’s picks played out.
