Shaquille O’Neal has done a lot of crazy stuff in his time in Boston, and I’m still waiting for him to enter a karaoke contest as Shaqa Khan, but on Sunday morning he did something everyone can and certainly will admire. Shaq headed on down to Framingham, where he spent the morning at Toys “R” Us, roaming the aisles and racking up a grand total of $5000 or so on purchases, which he promptly donated to the Marines’ Toys for Tots program, which sent a truck and some Devil Dogs to help commemorate the occasion.

While surrounded by the media and the finest fans in the world, Shaq filled up his cart with everything from Barbies to scooters before purchasing them and loading the toys right into the Marines’ waiting truck.
