2010-2011 NFL Expert Picks: Results

Who has won the latest NFL Pick 'Em? ("Pro Wrestling," NES)

The season is over, and so is the NFL Pick ‘Em here at SoB. And pretty much everyone was caught off-guard. Particularly with the NFC, nobody guessed any division winners correctly; the only winners anyone guessed right were the Colts and Patriots. Nobody guessed the Pats would get the top spot in the NFL, but I’m sure we’re all glad we were wrong on that one.

It was hard to guess the losers of the NFL, too. Three Bills and a Panthers vote were all there was. Not that the game was high scoring, but you remember how it works:

  • Two points for guessing a division winner.
  • One point for guessing another playoff participant.
  • And of course, two points for guessing the NFL’s best and six, five, … one points for exactly guessing seeds #1, 2, … 6 in each conference, none of which happened.

So with all that in mind, the winner of the 2010-2011 NFL Pick ‘Em is… Leo. It was very close, but Michael Vick and the Eagles helped Leo get that extra point he needed, or else Pete would have gotten the nod thanks to the Bills. Congrats, Leo; maybe you’ll defend your title in the playoffs edition, to be released Saturday.

So check below to see how we did. Ties were broken based on the team with the #1 draft pick, then #2, then #3, then the most guessed worst three teams in any order, then lowest combined record of bottom three picks. And be sure to tune in Saturday at 4:30pm to see how we here at SoB think the playoffs will turn out.
