Red Sox Get Four Games On New ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

Major League Baseball on ESPN (ESPN logo)

ESPN has selected the Red Sox for at least four primetime games in 2011 on Sunday Night Baseball:

  • April 10: Vs. Yankees
  • May 15: @ Yankees
  • May 22: Vs. Cubs
  • July 17: @ Rays

ESPN has not selected any games from June 5 to July 3 at the moment, so the Red Sox could pick up another primetime slot.

It’s worth noting that there’s an new announce team Sunday nights. Gone are the days of Jon Miller and Joe Morgan, and in are the days of no…not Steve Phillips, but Dan Shulman, Orel Hershiser and Bobby Valentine.
