Rex Ryan Feet-ured on Metro Cover

Rex Ryan (Photo from ReadMetro.com)

Whether Rex Ryan can handle it or not, this “foot fetish” report will not go away. Boston’s free Metro newspaper took a swipe at Rexy, featuring the Jets coach with dozens of bare feet with the title “Why The Pats Will De-Feet The Jets.”

The newspaper then goes on to point out spas while Rex is in Massachusetts so he can get his feet done. Is this in poor taste? Sure is. But…Rex begs for the attention to take it all away from his team. While he may have the right intentions, it doesn’t really help, as teams are often a reflection of their coach. If the coach is a boisterous blowhard, the players (i.e. Antonio Cromartie) will follow suit.
