• The trades were all about opening roster spots to sign Troy Murphy, Leon Powe, John Havlicek and Brian Scalabrine.
• The Patriots would pummel everyone in all the trades.
• Fitting acquisitions-- nothing says Boston Celtics like Green and a big dorky white guy.
• At least the Red Sox still have a Kendrick Perkins in A ball.
• This means Shaq will have to find time to fit in some basketball in between conducting the Boston Pops, skiing at Nashoba Valley, posing as a statue in Harvard Square and dressing up as Santa Claus.
• None of this has anything to do with the Oscars, so I don't care.
