Chad Ochocinco and Bill Belichick have long had a fondness for one another, and there have been whispers that the enigmatic Bengals wide receiver would welcome a trade to the Patriots. The Patriots could use a veteran deep threat that isn’t quite as crazy as Randy Moss, so it appears there could be a match.
Followers of both Chad Ochocinco (@ochocinco) and Brandon Meriweather (@BMeriweather31) on Twitter laid witness to a convo on Wednesday between the two about Madden, the popular NFL video game. Check it out:
Do you buy Ochocinco’s excuse? Do you think Madden randomly put him on the Patriots? We’re not talking Nintendo (though TechnoDome or John Elway’s Quarterback were pretty epic games in their day), we’re talking modern games that never have “glitches.”
I’d say that Ochocinco is dropping yet another hint about his desire to play in New England. He’s right though, nothing can happen until the lockout is over.
What do you think?
