Delonte West Applies for Job at Home Depot

Celtics Guard Delonte West (www.espn.go.com)

According to multiple reports, Delonte West could be trading in his Celtic’s green for Home Depot orange. Unlike many other NBA players who are looking to play overseas in the case of a lockout, West’s legal issues have prevented him from leaving the country.

He tweeted the other day:

It’s official.. Pride 2 the side.. just filled out a application at Home Depot.. Lockout aint a game..

Don’t laugh. The guy needs a job and is looking to make an honest living. Good for him.

And seriously, who wouldn’t want an employee who can do this?

About Josh Segal

Josh Segal is a professional shock artist and trash talker. He also occasionally writes opinion pieces about the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and their respective leagues at large. Segal is currently a junior at Kenyon College where he plans to double major in drama and political science. Apparently he also writes his own biographies in the third person.
