Video: Michael Ryder Dents Stanley Cup in Newfoundland
It was Michael Ryder’s day with the Stanley Cup the other day, and he brought it to his hometown in Newfoundland. Harmless, right? Not if you’re the Cup.
Ryder, now with the Dallas Stars, brought the Cup over to a table to take pictures with it, and when he let go…
Boom!
The Cup was noticeably dented from the fall, but it’s not a huge deal, because the Cup has been dinged up, drank from and peed in for decades. What’s another dent?
Still, it’s Ryder, so he’ll take a lot of heat for this. Should he?
