Video: Matt Lauer Calls Bruins The “Boston Brewers”

I know this is old…but with last week being a holiday weekend, I’m not sure this got as much play as it should have over the local airwaves and online. But, during the Thanksgiving special last week in New York, NBC’s “Today Show” host Matt Lauer was teasing last week’s Bruins-Red Wings game.

Whether it was because of a teleprompter or his own error, he called the Bruins the “Boston Brewers.” (video after the jump)

Sure, beer is good in the city, but come on. Lauer used to work for ESPN. He used to work in Boston!
