It’s playoff time in the NFL, and it’ll all start out with the first ever playoff meeting between rookie quarterbacks, when Andy Dalton leads the Bengals against T.J. Yates and the Texans, followed by what should be a shootout between the Lions and Saints. Sunday will cap off the first round with the Falcons/Giants and Steelers/Broncos.
Here at SoB (in red) and SoNY (in green), we’ve brought you our choices for how those games will turn out. It’ll be worth two points for anyone who guesses the winner of any game, one point if they can guess combined touchdown totals of the two teams to within one (or two points if they guess the total exactly right) and one point if they can guess the total passing yardage of each game’s top passer to within 50 (or two points if they get within 10).
The Saints were the only unanimous pick, with the Steelers not too far behind. The Giants and Falcons game is the biggest toss-up, while the Bengals and Texans look to be the most run-oriented.
So with all the record keeping out of the way, let’s get right to it with the complete pick set. So check below for that, and check back Sunday night for the results.
