Bruins and Boychuk Agree on Three-Year Extension

Johnny Boychuk

Boston has locked up defenseman Johnny Boychuk for the next three years to the tune of $10.08 million. TSN reported the news earlier today. Boychuk would have been an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season, but the Bruins got a deal done and were able to secure the services of the 28-year-old.

Through 52 games this season, Boychuk has three goals and seven assists while averaging 20:30 of ice time.
