While the Red Sox were busy getting their asses handed to them in Detroit, Ben Cherington was busy…oh you know…getting married.
Cherington tied the knot with fiancee Tyler Tumminia on Friday in New York, according to Boston.com.
Apparently, Tumminia is a “marketing executive at the Goldklang Group, a sports entertainment consulting and management firm.” She also apparently completed “MLB Scout School,” so I’d imagine she’s a baseball fan…which could be important when you marry a baseball GM.
Cherington was previously married to former Channel 7 anchor Wendi Nix, who is now a reporter for ESPN.
What do you think of Cherington’s new wife? Nice catch? (I’d say so.)
