2012 NBA Playoffs Expert Picks: First Round

Chicago is the best team in the NBA for consecutive years, but will this year end better? (http://members.carol.net)

The playoffs are upon us, but that doesn’t mean anyone can afford to rest any players. Derrick Rose is already out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him miss at least a vast majority of next regular season as well. The Bulls have done well enough without Rose this season, so we’ll see how things work out.

As far as everyone’s picks for our expert panels, seven series have the winners picked unanimously, with only the Clippers/Grizzlies in doubt. Not surprisingly, that is also picked to be the longest series, with four of six choosing it to go the difference. Even without Rose, the Bulls/76ers is picked to be the shortest, with three thinking it will be a sweep.

So be sure to check below for everyone’s picks (New Yorkers in green and Bostonians in red), and check back after the first round concludes for the results.
