Jerry Remy Sick Update: Sinus Infection

Jerry Remy (Image from NESN.com)

In case you haven’t noticed, Jerry Remy missed the final two games of the White Sox series over the weekend and Monday night’s win over the A’s.

According to NESN.com, he’s battling a sinus infection.

Peter Abraham, Nick Cafardo and Peter Gammons have helped fill in in the booth during Rem-Dawg’s absence.

He hopes to return to the booth this week.

  3. Remy and Don together make the games ,especially when soxs are blowing it . They always make us laugh and lighten up the moments when you want to throw something through the television set. :)

  4. I miss Jerry Remy and really, really, really hope there is nothing seriously wrong with him. I know he was treated for lung cancer last year and pray this is not related to his cancer. I pray you return soon Jerry. Not the same without you.

  7. The guys filling in for you, Rem have done a creditable job but a Sox game w/o you is nowhere near as good. Remdawg, you’re the BEST. Get well soon.

Even when the Sox are playing really bad (like they have lately), you have a way of making things a little more bearable! With all the love headed your way, you have no choice but to bounce back for us. Love you Jerry.
