Mayor Menino Praises Celtics’ ‘KJ’ and ‘Hondo’

Is Boston Mayor Tom Menino watching the same team we are? Did Danny Ainge make a last ditch effort to sure up his bench by securing mystery players named KJ and Hondo?

No, that’s right, he was talking about KG and Rondo.

I suppose we should be used to it.

Remember when Menino openly mocked the Colorado beer that “hasn’t made it East yet?” He obviously forgot about the icy cold refreshments bottled by Coors.

Better yet, do you remember when he referred to Patriot pass catchers Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski as Weckler and Grabowski?

It’s only right that the Celtics got their turn, and Boston sports fans are all better for it.

We could probably use the comic relief going into Game 6 after all.
