Should the Red Sox be sellers at the deadline? I think that decision still has yet to be made. But, if the Sox decide to sell off some of their parts, it appears they have a potential trading partner.
The Braves have called the Red Sox about a possible deal for Jon Lester, according to MLB.com’s Mark Bowman.
The Sox have said they will not be sellers, but that could change if the team slides as the deadline nears.
If they do deal Lester, they would likely be selling low, as the lefty is in the middle of the worst season of his career.
Lester is 5-7 with a 4.80 ERA so far in 2012.
