Last time Jason Terry got the Larry O’Brien trophy permanently etched on to his epidermis was before the 2011 regular season, a season in which he and the Dallas Mavericks went on to [somewhat improbably] win the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Now Terry has gotten another tattoo of the trophy, this time balanced on the Celtics leprechaun’s index finger, which is surely good news for Celtics fans who believe in fate and don’t believe in the importance of a large sample size.
Personally, I’d have preferred a tat of Kevin Garnett with bionic knees, but I appreciate the gesture nonetheless. Pre-season Tommy Point to the Jet.
