2013 NFL Playoffs Expert Picks: Wildcard Round

The playoffs are finally upon us, and it’s now underway, starting with Houston and Cincinnati. Our sizable panel of experts is here to bring you our predictions for this weekend’s Wildcard round games.

The Packers are the only unanimous selection to advance, with the Seahawks and Texans not far behind. The Ravens and Colts looks to be the trickiest game of the opening round, being split among our experts as to the winner. In addition, experts also made selections for how many touchdowns will be scored by both teams combined in each game, and the total passing yardage of each game’s top passer. Scoring for picks will work as such:

  • Picking the game’s winner correctly is worth two points.
  • Picking the combined touchdown total of both teams in a game is worth one point if guessed to within one, or two points if guessed exactly right instead.
  • Picking the passing yardage for each game’s top passer is worth one point if guessed to within 50, or two points if guessed to within 10 instead, or a whopping five points instead if guessed exactly right.

So now that everything’s been set out, be sure to check below for everyone’s selections. And also be sure to check back Sunday after the Divisional Round is set for the results.
