Monday night while the Celtics were losing to the Timberwolves, Paul Pierce was at home with what the Celtics called, “Personal Reasons.” It turns out the Truth was welcoming his first born son into the world.
Prince Paul Pierce was born at 8:21 pm on April 1st to Paul and Julie Pierce. Prince is the couple’s second child. Their daughter, Prianna Lee Pierce, turned five years old yesterday. Happy Birthday, Prianna.
Of course, the question on everyone’s mind is: Will Prince wear a green jersey for life too? The Celtics’ captain said of his son’s athletic potential, “In the next 18 years Celtics’ fans, look out.”
Celtics’ fans can only hope that Kevin Garnett’s mysterious absence from the team is also good news. Maybe Garnett has been out solving world hunger in the last few weeks, and news of his humanitarian efforts has yet to reach us.
