Video: Former Red Sox SS Iglesias With Unreal Barehanded Play

God, I miss Jose Iglesias.

I’m not going so far as to say that I wouldn’t pull the trigger 10 times out of 10 on the three-team trade that brought Jake Peavy to the Boston Red Sox. After all, that’s what Xander Boegarts is in Pawtucket for.

Nevertheless, I do truly miss watching Iglesias make what seems like one mind-blowing web gem with his glove per game. Well, I guess “with his glove” isn’t entirely accurate. For instance, check out his defensive wizardry with the Detroit Tigers.

The only question is, was his play better than that amazing wiffleball catch at Little Fenway?
