98.5 The Sports Hub to Air Celtics Games

celtics985

The Celtics and 98.5 The Sports Hub have reached a multi-year deal for the sports radio station to carry all Celtics games.

WEEI announced in late August that they would no longer carry Celtics games on their air, allowing Sports Hub to swoop in.

The move gives 98.5 The Sports Hub exclusive radio rights with the Bruins, Patriots, Celtics and Revolution. WEEI still carries all Red Sox games.

On nights when the Celtics and Bruins are playing, 98.5 The Sports Hub will carry the Bruins game and 100.7, WZLX will carry the Celtics game.

Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell will continue to serve as commentators for Celtics games, as they have for the last several years on WEEI.

The C’s regular season opens Oct. 30.
