Roy Halladay to Sign One-Day Contract, Retire With Blue Jays

According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay will sign a one-day contract with the Toronto Blue Jays and retire after 16 major league seasons.

A longtime AL East nemesis, Halladay won 203 games in his big-league career, winning two Cy Youngs and finishing second in voting two other times.

He spent the last four seasons with the Phillies, and had injuries that plagued him the last two seasons.
