2014 NFL Playoffs Expert Picks: Wildcard Round Results

San Diego impressed in Cincinnati; now they get a tough rematch in Denver as a reward. (http://assets.ilounge.com/)

The first round was complete, and was even more thrilling than anyone could have imagined. From Indy’s wild comeback to San Francisco’s buzzer-beating field goal in four degree weather, and big road wins by the Saints and Chargers in between, we can only hope we get games with a fraction of the entertainment value in following rounds.

The Chargers were the team with the least amount of selections from our panel to win, and their 17-point victory is much more lopsided than the one, two and three-point victories that occurred around them. The middle of our panel is pretty clustered, with some picks cancelling each other out when compared to the picks of other experts. The Colts and Chiefs were significantly more high-scoring than anyone picked, while the other games were less productive than many had in mind.

And while our early leader had a knack for picking games and stats in the first round, there’s still plenty of time left for everyone else to picks up some points and do so quickly. So check below for the Wildcard Round results, and come back Saturday for the next set of picks.
