The playoffs are finally here, and it looks to be an exciting round. The Saints and 49ers will have to deal with cold temperatures outdoors, while the Chiefs have to win in the stadium of a team that beat them in theirs and the Chargers have in win in a stadium where no road team has been successful this year.
In our Pick ‘Em for this season’s playoffs, the NFC road teams look to have an easier time, with the 49ers favored and New Orleans enjoying a slight edge. The Chargers and Chiefs are each getting some attention, coming from a division that sent three teams to the playoffs.
For our competition, scoring will work according to the following:
- Picking the winner of a game is worth two points.
- Picking the total number of touchdowns scored by both teams combined is worth one point if guessed to within one, or two points if guessed exactly right.
- Picking the yards thrown for by each game’s top passer (one top-throwing quarterback only) is worth one point if guessed to within 50, or two points if guessed to within 10, or five points if guessed exactly right.
