The Patriots have found their replacement for the departing Bill O’Brien: former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The 35-year-old McDaniels will join the Patriots immediately and help coach the Pats as an assistant during the playoffs. Then, he’ll take over as the offensive coordinator on a full-time basis in 2012.
