Red Sox Place Moss on DL, Recall RHP Hansen

The Boston Red Sox placed outfielder Brandon Moss on the 15-day disabled list Monday and recalled right-hander Craig Hansen from Double-A Pawtucket. Moss had an appendectomy Saturday in Boston and was released from Massachusetts General Hospital a day later. The designation is retroactive to Saturday.
