Bruins All-Decade Team: 2000′s

The first decade of the new millennium has been a pendulum for the National Hockey League: it has seen the disappointment of a lockout during the 2004-2005 season coupled with the high expectations of “the Next One,” Sidney Crosby. The Boston Bruins had the same swings, ranging from the excitement of a first-place finish in […]

Bruins Back for (Much) More

With veterans healthy and youngsters one year wiser, the boys in black and gold are ready to build on a so-so 2007 campaign. Despite getting pummeled in Game 7 against the top seeded Canadiens, the bright spots throughout the season were far from scarce. Bruins Initially an Afterthought in 2007-08 After losing their leader early […]

Bruins Sign Veteran Forward Yelle

The 35-year-old Murray, a 16-year veteran, has scored 337 goals with 314 assists in 1,009 regular season games. Murray was in his second stint with the Bruins and was their first-round pick in 1991.

Bruins Lose a Wild One

After trailing 4-0, the B’s worked hard to get back in the game and successfully grabbed one point by losing in OT. This game was a wild one and the goal-tending (Thomas, Coklin) was horrible from both sides. Crosby and Malkin had a good game (as expected) while Marco Sturm finally woke up from his […]
