Red Sox trade Jake Peavy to the Giants

On Saturday the Boston Red Sox agreed to a trade with the San Francisco Giants that will send right-handed veteran pitcher Jake Peavy back to the west coast. Boston receives right-handed minor league reliever Heath Hembree and left-handed minor league starter Rafael Escobar in the deal.
