For information on attending the camp, feel free to check out the press release below for details:

North Andover, MA., March 30, 2010 – - Football players will have the opportunity this summer to learn individual and team football techniques from New England Patriots players during the Matt Light Football Camp

June 28-July 1. The camp, which offers overnight and day camp options, will be held at Merrimack College, in North Andover, MA and will feature New England Patriots offensive lineman, two-time Pro Bowler and three-time Super Bowl champion Matt Light.

The camp is designed for players ages 7 to 18 and will feature daily instruction, lectures and demonstrations by Light and/or members of the New England Patriots. The college and high school coaches on staff will ensure individual and team instruction on both offense and defense. Football newcomers and seasoned players alike will also experience teamwork, self-discipline, selecting the correct role models and how to attain their sports and life potential. Even though this is not an “autograph camp,” members of the Patriots will be available for autographs.

“The goal of the camp and instructors is to maximize the potential of each young player while giving them an experience they will never forget,” says Light.

Light was named to the Associated Press All-Pro Team in 2007 and has earned AFC Pro Bowl honors in 2006 and 2007. He started every game in 2007 as part of a Patriots offensive line that allowed just 21 sacks, the fewest for the franchise in 30 years. Light contributed to a Patriots offense that set all-time NFL records with 589 points and 75 touchdowns in 2007. In his nine seasons in New England, Light has been a part of six division championships, four conference titles and three Super Bowl crowns.

Football players can obtain more information and request a camp brochure by calling 1-800-555-0801, or by visiting www.footballcamps.com. Space in the camp is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

The Red Claws get the 7’0” Charlotte Bobcats center Alexis Ajinca. He will join the team for their home opener on December 4th.

NEW YORK, Nov. 30, 2009 – Charlotte Bobcats center Alexis Ajinca was assigned to the Maine Red Claws, the Bobcats’ NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced today. The assignment is the fifth of the NBA D-League season, the second for Maine, and the second for Ajinca in as many years, who was assigned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce last season.

Ajinca, 7-0, has appeared in six games for the Bobcats this season, averaging 1.7 points and 5.0 minutes. Last season, Ajinca appeared in 31 games for Charlotte, averaging 2.3 points, 1.0 rebound and 5.9 minutes before being assigned to Sioux Falls on March 9, 2009 for the remainder of the season.

In 11 games in the NBA D-League last season, Ajinca averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 22.8 minutes. Scoring in double-figures in eight games, Ajinca scored a career-high 19 points in an April 11 home victory over the Anaheim Arsenal at Sioux Falls Arena.

Originally selected in the first round, 20th overall, of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Bobcats, Ajinca played two seasons professionally in his native France prior to entering the NBA Draft. During those two years, he averaged 5.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 10.8 minutes playing for Hveres-Toulon of the French ProA League.

Ajinca, who is expected to join the Red Claws (1-1) today, will be available on Dec. 4, when Maine plays its first home game against the Springfield Armor (0-2) at the Portland Exposition Building. Tip off is set for 8:00 p.m. ET.

Bobcats fans can follow Ajinca and the rest of the Red Claws by logging onto nba.com/dleague to watch all of the team’s games live, online, for free.

The NBA Development League, founded in 2001, is the NBA’s official minor league whose teams have direct affiliations to NBA franchises. For the 2009-10 season, the league will feature 16 teams – including the debut of the Maine Red Claws and the Springfield Armor. A proven developer of talent, 20 percent of players in the NBA at the conclusion of the 2008-09 season boasted NBA D-League experience, while the league continues to develop coaches, referees, and front office staff for the NBA and its teams. In fostering the league’s connection to the community, its teams, players and staff promote health and wellness, support local needs and interests, and assist in educational development through NBA D-League Cares programs. The NBA D-League also advances the game of basketball as the research and development arm of the NBA. Throughout the season fans can watch all NBA D-League games on NBA Futurecast, the free live Web-streaming initiative found at nba.com/dleague.
