The ageless wonder Vinny Testaverde has signed with the QB starved Carolina Panthers. With starter Jake Delhomme sidelined with elbow issues and backup David Carr having no true quarterback behind him, the Panthers signed the 43 year old veteran.
Testaverde has spent time on the Patriots roster the last two seasons, throwing a touchdown pass in the final regular season game of 2006. The Pats have used rookie Matt Gutierrez as their third string emergency quarterback this season.
