While running his annual hockey camp in Vermont may not make Bruins goalie Tim Thomas a Ghostbuster, he recently had an interesting experience. While returning from Atlantic City, Thomas’ plane was delayed for three hours in Philadelphia. On his way back to the gate from getting a bite to eat, he saw Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from SyFy Channel’s Ghost Hunters.
After checking in on his plane, Thomas, a fan of the show, introduced himself to the paranormal investigators. They chatted, and Thomas was invited to Hawes’ hotel in New Hampshire before having to catch his plane. After texting back and forth later on, Hawes’ even posted on Twitter that he met Thomas.
Despite the meeting, it looks like Thomas won’t be appearing on the show. He has enough to concentrate on. With training camp and pre-season activities going on in full swing, Thomas is working on prepping for the Bruins’ season opener at home against the Washington Capitals on Oct. 1. In addition, according to Thomas, the two hosts looked tired, like they had just finished a lot of taping, and Thomas said he didn’t want to bother them on vacation.
