Top performers from Friday’s games:

  • Sioux Falls’ Reggie Williams led all scorers with 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field. Keith Brumbaugh posted 18 points and eight rebounds while Michael Joiner added 16.
  • Boston Celtics assignee Bill Walker recorded a double-double with a team-high in points (25) and rebounds (11) for the Maine Red Claws. NBA D-League veteran Billy Thomas scored 18 points behind 3-of-4 shooting from the three-point line.
  • Austin was led by their 2009 D-League First round pick Alonzo Gee who scored a team-high 24 points while hauling in seven rebounds in the Toro victory. Dwayne Jones scored 11 points and 12 boards assists.
  • Antonio Anderson’s game-high 28 points led the way for RGV. Mike Harris scored 20 points in his Vipers debut while hauling in five boards. Rockets assignee Joey Dorsey grabbed 15 rebounds and scored seven points while blocking two shots.
  • The Albuquerque Thunderbirds defeated the Bakersfield Jam 102-81, led by Carlos Powell’s 20 points and nine rebounds. Keith McLeod followed with 19, Tony Danridge with 16, Yarolsav Korolev with 15, and Antoine Agudio and Cory Underwood with 10 apiece.
  • Reece Gaines led Bakersfield with 19 points. Jared Newson added 18 and Justin Hawkins pitched in 16 for the Jam.
  • The Erie Bayhawks were led by Jackie Manuel with 18 points. John Bryant pitched in 16 points and 14 rebounds in the Bayhawks victory, and Donelle Taylor chipped in 16 points for the victors.
  • Center Sean Sonderleiter led the Mad Ants with 21 points and grabbed a team high 10 boards. Ron Howard scored 19 points, and Brandon Cotton had 16 in his NBA D-League debut.
  • The Flash were led by Dontell Jefferson’s game-high 18 points, with Orien Greene came off the bench to score 17 points, grab eight rebounds and dish out five assists. Gavin Grant added 17 points, while Andre Ingram pitched in 14 points, and Luke Nevill added 11 points and nine rebounds. Carlos Wheeler had the Flash’s lone double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
  • The 66ers finished with six players in double-figure scoring, led by Moses Ehambe with 15 points. Larry Owens, Keith Clark, Mustafa Shakur and Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Byron Mullens each added 14 points. Clark and Mullens also grabbed 10 boards apiece for Tulsa. Cecil Brown added 10 points off the bench.
  • Curtis Stinson led Iowa in a 106-73 victory over the Springfield Armor with 13 points and five rebounds.
  • Perrin Johnson (9) and Craig Austrie (8) led Springfield as the fell to the Energy in their inaugural home opener.

26 players with D-League experience competed in 12 NBA games last night, five as starters.
  • As a starter for Portland, Martell Webster notched 24 points and grabbed five rebounds.
  • Ramon Sessions led the Minnesota off the bench with a game-high 23 points against the Phoenix Suns.
  • Starting for the Bucks, Ersan Ilyasova notched a double-double, scoring 13 point sand 12 rebounds in 22 minutes of play.
  • Will Bynum scored 14 points and dished nine assists in 33 minutes off the bench for Detroit.
  • As a starter for Houston, Aaron Brooks recorded 12 points and four assists in 31 minutes of play for the Rockets.
  • Dallas’ Jose Juan Barea notched eight points, six rebounds and four assists to help the Mavericks defeat the Pacers 113-92.
