2010 MLB Playoff Expert Picks: League Championship Series Results

As it turned out, Philadelphia didn't know they were required to fear the beard. (foxsports.com)

The World Series is here, and the Yankees aren’t in it. If only the Red Sox were. But that’s neither here nor there. The Giants surprised all of us by tearing into Philadelphia’s ace-loaded staff, and the Yankees surprised most of us by being terrible. Our leader Pete padded his lead by getting the Rangers right (and their six games, no less). The rest of us are left waddling behind, battling for second, but as this World Series match-up shows, anything can happen. It’s not over yet, though.

We still have a World Series to pick. And though Pete’s lead is rather secure, it’s not invincible if he picks the wrong team. Be sure to tune in next Wednesday to see how everyone thinks the World Series will turn out, and check below to see how we’re all doing so far:

Yankees / Rangers Giants / Phillies Total
Name Winner Series Length Series MVP Winner Series Length Series MVP Points
Andrew Yankees 6 Robinson Cano Phillies 5 Roy Halladay 7
Brian Yankees 5 Robinson Cano Phillies 5 Roy Halladay 5
Erikk Yankees 6 Derek Jeter Phillies 5 Roy Halladay 6
John Yankees 7 C.C. Sabathia Phillies 7 Ryan Howard 7
KC Yankees 6 Robinson Cano Phillies 5 Chase Utley 5
Pete Rangers 6 Cliff Lee Phillies 7 Roy Halladay 12
