Celtics center Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t need to go far to find a place where everyone knows his name. If he’s anywhere in the world, there will probably be someone that recognizes “Blackie Bulger,” whether he’s in drag, dressed as Santa Claus, sitting like a statue, or at the police station getting his gun license.
But, just in case, Shaq recently went to Cheers, where everyone knows your name. Shaq even tried singing the theme song to the 1980’s sitcom. Twitter legend @BostonTweet captured video of this glorious event:
Normally when I hear too much about someone, I tend to get sick of them. But, in the case of Shaq, it’s hard to hate on him. He’s done a lot of good while in the city, and he’s certainly making the best of his time here.
