Paul Pierce Gets an Awesome Tribute Song

Paul Pierce keeps it gangsta and gets a tribute song from rapper Damani (www.dimemag.com)

The captain of the Celtics has received quite an honor. Matt Pepin has reported that the rapper known as Damani has made a tribute song to Paul Pierce. It’s loaded with some pretty cool punchlines, and although I can’t stand rap today (have you heard the garbage on the radio?!), I have to hand it to Damani; this is a pretty good song. And it couldn’t have come at a better time. Pierce has been playing exceptionally well recently, and besides Kevin Garnett, if anyone deserves such an honor right now, it’s Paul Pierce…and that’s a straight up fact for all you haters out there.

Props to my new homeboy Damani for making such an awesome song, and props to my old-time homeboy Paul Pierce for being awesome enough to get a tribute song. That’s what’s up!
