Report: Aaron Hernandez to Miss Time for Patriots

The up-and-rising tight end duo of Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski that has taken the NFL by storm, will be one man short for a couple of weeks.

Shalise Manza Young, of the Boston Globe, reports that Hernandez has suffered a strained MCL and will be out the next 1-2 weeks of play.

Hernandez is coming off his second consecutive game that he caught seven passes and recorded a touchdown. The elusive, 21-year-old, looked to be gaining confidence and showed signs of developing into Tom Brady’s comfort blanket underneath.

With his absence, look Brady will shift his focus on the Gronkowski brothers — Rob and Dan — to fill the void left by Hernandez.
