To Twitter Users: Chad Ochocinco to Give $20,000 Away

Chad Ochocinco's stint in New England has been interesting, to say the very least. (AP Photo/Stephan Savoia)

Do you want $20,000? Do you have a Twitter account?

If you answered yes to both of those questions, you are in perfect contention to cash in!

Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is promising $20,000 to his 3 millionth follower on Twitter. As of 2:03 p.m. eastern time, Ochocinco has 2,875,344 followers.

This action certainly isn’t hard to believe. Before the season Ochocinco used Twitter to say that he was going to live with a fan.

Ochocinco has just nine catches this season and has been a disappointment since he joined the team in late July. We wrote a column about his struggles earlier this week.

Still, it’s Chad being Chad. So go follow away!

  1. Chad being Chad? More like Chad being stupid. If you announce that the 3 millionth follower gets cash, why would anybody FOLLOW at 2.8 mill? Just play football Ocho Stinko! And study the dang playbook!!!
