(Fake) Texts From Adrian Gonzalez To… Ben Cherington

The Red Sox are in full spin mode following the fall out from the Yahoo! Sports article that basically claims Bobby Valentine is a reincarnated Billy Martin. Center in that story is Adrian Gonzalez, who reportedly sent texts to Sox ownership vocally criticizing Bobby V and leading the player’s mutiny.

While we have no way of knowing what Gonzo texted to his bosses, we do have a way of completely fabricating the texts and posting them on this website. Here we take a look at Adrian’s conversation with Ben Cherington, who didn’t even want Bobby V in the first place.

And remember, while these texts are 100% fake, there is no doubt that at least one Sox player made this mistake in real life.
