It’s one day later… but it still happened. The Bruins have traded away 21-year-old forward Tyler Seguin.

The B’s traded Seguin, Rich Peverely and prospect Ryan Button to the Stars for Loui Eriksson and prospects Joe Morrow, Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser.

Seguin is about to start a 6-year, $34.5 million contract extension he signed last year.

Eriksson, meanwhile, is 27 and is entering his eighth season in the NHL. He spent the previous 7 seasons with the Stars.
