Police have expanded their search for evidence in the Aaron Hernandez case to his hometown of Bristol, Connecticut. Now in its second day, police divers continue to search Pine Lake in Bristol after an eight-hour search of the 54-acre lake on Monday.
Although authorities declined to comment on the nature of the search, though they have confirmed it is related to the murder of Odin Lloyd.
Hernandez has plead not guilty to a first-degree murder charge in the death of Lloyd, whose body was found a mile away from Hernandez’s home last month.
Although not confirmed, it is alleged that authorities are looking for a .45-caliber Glock, the weapon they believe was used to kill Lloyd but has yet to be found.
