The World Series is over, and the Boston Red Sox have completed a worst-to-first turnaround to capture another World Series championship. David Ortiz just tore right through all Cardinals pitching en route to the MVP award, while Boston took control against Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha just as they did Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander. St Louis just had a tough time keeping Boston down for nine innings at a time.
Overall, it was a pretty easy series for our panelists to predict, though a singular home run in the final game was a bit less than we thought. In the end, the winner of the 2013 MLB Playoffs Pick ‘Em is… Nick B. Nick went into the final round with a lead, and correctly guessed the winner, length and MVP of the series to secure the win.
